My Favorite Cartoon by the Pixar Animation Studio


The Pixar animation studio is a relatively new player on the field of cartoon animation. Although it exists as an independent studio only several years, lots of great cartoons were created by it. The Monsters, Inc. is one of them which became popular all over the world.

Moreover, it became my favorite cartoon, although I am far not a child. The first time I watched it was the day when I was writing essay papers. I liked the Monsters, Inc. so much that I decided to put aside my academic work. I did not even expect that the cartoon could be so fascinating and humorous. Frankly speaking, I was next to cry over some moments of the Monsters.

After I watched the cartoon, I decided to read an essay term paper by professional critics. I was glad to see that the Monsters, Inc. was positively accepted by the majority of them. To my mind, the Monsters was a combination of several aspects which made the cartoon a success not only with children, but also with adults. First of all, the work by the directors, Pete Docter, Lee Unkrich, and David Silverman, of the cartoon should be appreciated. Secondly, the voicing of the Monsters, Inc. was also marvelous. I still cannot forget the voice of James P, that large blue handsome creature by John Goodman. However, the work by the cartoon’s animator deserves separate consideration. It was a real delight for me to watch such bright and vivid cartoon.
